Traditionally building Narrowboats for pleasure or residential use M&P Steelcraft Ltd have completed and designed these vessels for a wide range of occupants, whether its the quiet slow life of the inland waterways or the cost cutting economic residential purposes of the city life.

Come and experience for your self our in house building program, sample our workmanship at first hand, We don't just say we build boats, we actual produce our own shells in house at our workshop in Seend, Wiltshire, we can offer our boats from our basic build spec right the way through to our fully fitted range and more.

hull & super structure hot rolled mild steel.

8 or 10mm base plates, 6mm hull sides, 4mm cabin sides & roof.

engine bearers.

bow & stern mooring bollards.

center roof mooring eye.

bow & stern fender eyes.

fuel tank with filler & breather.

integral water tank.

gas locker.

rubbing strakes.

window apertures 6 off per vessel.

painted inside & out with zinc oxide primer.

hull bitumen.

anodes fitted.

stern rail (cruiser style only).

rudder & tiller.

6 off windows ( polish finish).

4 off solid brass mushroom vents.

ballast laid on bitumen felt.

wooden floor 18mm thick.

marine diesel engine to suit size of vessel.

propeller, prop shaft to suit size of vessel.

center flex coupling/R&D type coupling.

brass greaser kit.

isolator switch.

starter battery. 

dry exhaust silencer & flexible coupling.

control lever & cables.

. We offer Oak veneer to all sides and roof as standard.

.Bulkheads are manufactured from oak veneer panels.

.All woodwork finished in a hard wearing two- pack lacquer.

.Full 240 system ring main fitted and protected by an RCD.

.Fresh water is supplied from a treated water tank.

Second Bedroom (Boats over 55ft and over).

Fixed double bed with mattress & full height wardrobe max 3ft wide.
